Base Repair Project to Begin Next Week on Route 6 in Towanda Borough and Wysox Township, Bradford County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a base repair project is set to begin next week on Route 6 in Towanda Borough and Wysox Township (Golden Mile), Bradford County.

On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, through Thursday, May 30, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will perform base repairs on Route 6 between Route 1039 (North Main Street) in Towanda Borough and Route 187 in Wysox Township. Motorists can expect alternating single lane restrictions with flagging where work is being performed.  Work will be performed during daylight hours, weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, expect delays, stay alert, watch for changing traffic patterns, and drive with caution through the work zone.
