Office of Enterprise Wireless Management

Leveraging Infrastructure in Support of Connectivity

The Department of General Services Office of Enterprise Wireless Management (OEWM) oversees the Commonwealth's efforts to utilize and optimize excess and underutilized capacity on all the Commonwealth’s Executive Office’s owned  assets to support the development, improvement, and expansion of broadband and wireless connectivity in Pennsylvania.

This office serves as a one-stop shop for Co-location, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), New Tower Construction, Small Cell Deployments, Rooftops, and Micro Data Centers. It manages coordination among internal government agencies, serving as a mediator to help navigate procedures and approval processes.

This office also provides policy recommendations & guidance to government leaders and key stakeholders to foster infrastructure expansion, adoption, and use to further connectivity across the Commonwealth.
