Blue Envelope Program

Traffic stops can be stressful, especially for drivers with autism, dementia, anxiety, or other neurodivergent conditions. The Blue Envelope helps bridge that gap.

This free envelope lets officers quickly understand your communication needs before approaching your window, so interactions stay calm, respectful, and safe. It notes whether you're verbal or non-verbal, holds your key documents, and gives officers guidance on how to help.

Get yours for free:

  • Any Capitol entrance (Main Capitol, East Wing, North Office Building)
