Harrisburg, PA – Today, the Pennsylvania Department of General Services' Bureau of Vehicle Management (BVM) announced that approximately 375 used vehicles will be up for public purchase at the October Commonwealth Vehicle Auction. The auction is open to the public and will take place on Tuesday, October 7, at 10:00 AM at Manheim Keystone Pennsylvania, 488 Firehouse Road in Grantville.
Included in this month’s lineup are retired state police vehicles, 4-wheel drive SUVs, pickups, and utility vehicles from top brands such as Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota, GMC, and Jeep, along with sedans, minivans, and seized vehicles from law enforcement agencies.
Pre-registration and in-person preview of vehicles begins on Saturday, October 4. Previews will take place each day from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Monday, October 6, at the Grantville auction site. Pre-registration is mandatory for the auction and must be completed on or before Monday, October 6, at 3:00 PM. There is no registration on the day of the sale. Cash will not be accepted for registration.
The auction will begin on Tuesday, October 7, at 10:00 AM. Buyers must make purchases with cash, or certified funds in the forms of money order, cashier's check, or certified check, made payable to “Cox Automotive.”
