    Crane Operators Board Resources and Documents

    Find the Crane Operators Board forms and resources you need to apply, renew, or update your license.

    Applications, renewals, and other requests will be completed at www.pals.pa.gov.

    That includes:

    • Initial Licensure Application with Certification - Register as a new user at www.pals.pa.gov, confirm your registration and log into your account.  Click on the APPLY FOR NEW LICENSE button, select our Board, then answer a few questions.  Click the NEXT button (right side) when the system determines which application best suits your needs.  Complete the application and submit for review.
    • Crane Operator Trainee Application - Register as a new user at www.pals.pa.gov, confirm your registration and log into your account.  Click on the APPLY FOR NEW LICENSE button, select our Board, then answer a few questions.  Click the NEXT button (right side) when the system determines which application best suits your needs.  Complete the application and submit for review.                                                                                                                                       **Important - If you are applying for multiple 'trainee' licenses, select ONE for the online application, then email the Board Office at ra-crane_operators@pa.gov and state the other 'trainee' licenses you would like to obtain, along with your application/reference number (AA000).
    • Add and/or Remove a Specialty - Log into your account at www.pals.pa.gov and get to your dashboard.  Click on the REQUEST button, located next to your license number, under the Professional License Details banner and select Add/Remove Specialty.  Complete the application to add and/or remove the specialties on your license and submit for review.  

    You may also request duplicate licenses, changes to your name, and changes to your address at www.pals.pa.gov.
