Michael Goldstein

Interim Harrisburg Regional Office Director 

Michael Goldstein serves as the Interim Regional Director for the Harrisburg region. The Harrisburg Regional Office serves 36 counties in PA and Goldstein’s role is to direct and manage the investigative work of the staff.

Goldstein began his career with the PHRC in June 2014 as an Investigator. He was promoted to Compliance Supervisor in November 2016, Intake Supervisor in August 2019, and Interim Regional Director in August 2026. Throughout his career with the PHRC, he has remained committed to advancing the Commission’s mission and ensuring that complaints of discrimination are handled thoroughly, fairly, and professionally.

Goldstein holds a degree in Business Studies from Harrisburg Area Community College and graduated from the Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Development Institute in 2019. Goldstein has received multiple PHRC Star awards as both an investigator and Supervisor, as well as the Executive Director’s Award for Excellence.

Goldstein is proud of his career with the PHRC and the opportunity to lead a team serving individuals and communities throughout the 36 counties in PA that the Harrisburg Region serves.
