    Holiday Closing Information

    Below is a list of all holidays when PennDOT's Riverfront Office Center location in Harrisburg and Driver License and Photo License Centers statewide will be closed. If you are planning to visit one of PennDOT's On-Line Messenger Service Centers, please call ahead for hours of operation during holidays.

    • December 25, 2025 – Christmas Holiday
    • January 1, 2026 – New Year's Holiday
    • January 17 & 19, 2026 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day
    • February 14 & 16, 2026 – Presidents' Day
    • May 23 & 25, 2026 – Memorial Day
    • June 19, 2026 – Juneteenth
    • July 3 & 4, 2026 – Independence Day     
      • The Riverfront Office Center in Harrisburg and the Pittsburgh Driver License Center will be closed on Friday, July 3. All other driver and photo license centers will be closed on Saturday, July 4.
    • September 4 & 7, 2026 – Labor Day
    • October 10 & 12, 2026 – Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day
    • November 11, 2026 – Veterans Day 
    • November 26, 2026 – Thanksgiving Day
    • November 27, 2026 – Day after Thanksgiving
    • December 25, 2026 – Christmas Holiday
    • January 1, 2027 - New Year's Holiday
    • January 16 & 18, 2026 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
