    The Hart InterCivic Verity Vanguard 1.0 electronic voting system was certified by the PA Department of State on August 6, 2026. The certified polling place components are:

    • Verity Vanguard Vault precinct scanner
    • Verity Vanguard Flex ballot marking device

    The EAC and the Pennsylvania Department of State certified Hart InterCivic Verity Vanguard 1.0 under current federal and state standards. Pennsylvania has developed new standards of security and accessibility that manufacturers must meet to achieve state certification.
