YARDLEY ACCESS AREA IN BUCKS COUNTY TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY

Yardley Access Area in Bucks County to be Closed Temporarily

HARRISBURG, Pa. (August 20) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Yardley Access Area, which provides fishing and boating access to the Delaware River in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County, will be closed for several hours daily from August 23-27.

These closures will occur from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day so that contractors can remove several large, dead trees from around the parking area which present a risk to public safety.  The access area will be reopened each evening for public use.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
