ROSSTON ACCESS IN ARMSTRONG COUNTY TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY FOR IMPROVEMENTS

Rosston Access in Armstrong County to be Closed Temporarily for Improvements

HARRISBURG, Pa. (August 24) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Rosston Access, which provides fishing and boating access to Crooked Creek and the Allegheny River in Manor Township, Armstrong County, will be temporarily closed from August 29 through September 23, 2022.

During this time, a new boat launch ramp will be constructed, and improvements will be made to the parking lot.

While construction is being completed at Rosston, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Allegheny River by using the Cowanshannock Creek Access upstream and the Freeport Access downstream.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
