    Public Boat Docks to be Removed for Winter at Lake Wallenpaupack, Harveys Lake

    ​HARRISBURG, Pa. (October 18) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the public boat docks at two popular northeastern region lakes will soon be removed in preparation for winter.

    Boaters and anglers should note the following locations and dates for dock removal:

    • Lake Wallenpaupack Access at Mangan Cove; Pike and Wayne counties.  Docks will be removed during the week of October 30 - November 3, 2023.
    • Harveys Lake Access, Luzerne County.  Docks will be removed during the week of November 6-10.

    Weather permitting, the public boat docks at these locations are expected to be re-installed in late March 2024.
