PORTIONS OF WALNUT CREEK MARINA TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY FOR MAINTENANCE

Portions of Walnut Creek Marina to be Closed Temporarily for Mantenance

***UPDATE*** -- Construction Closure Extended Until May 6, 2022

HARRISBURG, Pa. (March 31) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is alerting boaters that the main motorboat launch at the Walnut Creek Marina in Fairview, Erie County, will be closed from April 11 to approximately April 28, 2022, to perform dredging within the marina basin.

The rest of the access area will remain open during this time.  Anglers may use the parking lots and fish from sections of the pier and shoreline not impacted by the dredging activity.  Boaters using canoes, kayaks, and smaller boats may use the small boat launch which is located directly south of the marina basin.  This launch is shallow and does not provide access for larger boats.

The marina office and public restrooms will be open beginning April 11th (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.).  Weather permitting, slipholders who have a current contract may move their boats in for the season on or after May 15.

Fishing licenses and launch permits are available for purchase at the marina office or online at www.fishandboat.com.
