    Parking Lot and Boat Launch to be Temporarily Closed at Briar Creek Lake, Columbia County

    HARRISBURG, Pa. (June 5) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the parking lot and main boat launch at Briar Creek Lake, Columbia County, will be temporarily closed from June 22-26, 2026.  During this time, a shoreline enhancement project will be completed to improve public access and fish habitat. 

    The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
