Parking Areas Around Fisherman's Paradise in Centre County to be Closed Temporarily for Maintenance

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (August 14) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that several public parking areas used to access Fisherman's Paradise along Spring Creek in Benner Township, Centre County, will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.  This includes the main parking area at the PFBC's H.R. Stackhouse School of Fishery Conservation and Watercraft Safety, and the first gravel parking lot along Spring Creek Road near Paradise Road.

These temporary closures are necessary so that tree removal operations may be conducted.

During this maintenance period, anglers and other visitors will be unable to enter through the gate at the Stackhouse facility, and signs will be posted indicating any other parking restrictions throughout the day.  Visitors should plan to use alternate parking areas, including the parking lot located before the gate.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as this project is completed.
