MUSKRAT SPRINGS ACCESS IN JUNIATA COUNTY TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY FOR IMPROVEMENTS

HARRISBURG, Pa. (November 4) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Muskrat Springs Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Juniata River in Walker Township, Juniata County, will be temporarily closed beginning today, November 4, 2025, through November 17, 2025.

During this time, improvements will be made to the parking area.

While work is being completed at the Muskrat Springs Access, anglers and boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Juniata River by using the PFBC's Walker Access upstream or  Thompsontown Access downstream.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
