MONONGAHELA ACCESS IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY FOR IMPROVEMENTS

Monongahela Access in Washington County to be Closed Temporarily for Improvements

HARRISBURG, Pa. (December 6) –The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Monongahela Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Monongahela River in the City of Monongahela, Washington County, will be temporarily closed from December 7-14, 2022.

During this time, improvements will be made to the parking area.

While construction is being completed at Monongahela, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Monongahela River by using the Speers Access upstream.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
