HARRISBURG, Pa. (July 13) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Lewistown Narrows Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Juniata River in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County, will be temporarily closed from now until July 16, 2026.
During this time, PennDOT will be completing road repairs near the entrance to the access along Routes 22/322.
While work is being completed at the Lewistown Narrows Access, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Juniata River by using the PFBC's Walker Access downstream.
The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
