HALLSTEAD ACCESS IN SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY TO BE CLOSED TEMPORARILY FOR IMPROVEMENTS

Hallstead Access in Susquehanna County to be Closed Temporarily for Improvements

HARRISBURG, Pa. (August 25) –The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Hallstead Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Susquehanna River in Great Bend Township, Susquehanna County, will be temporarily closed from August 28 through September 1, 2023.

During this time, improvements will be made to the parking area.

While these improvements are being completed at the Hallstead Access, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Susquehanna River by using the Oakland Access upstream.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
