HARRISBURG, Pa. (November 4) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Deer Creek Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Allegheny River in Harmar Township, Allegheny County, will be temporarily closed beginning today, November 4, 2025, through November 17, 2025.
During this time, improvements will be made to the parking area.
While work is being completed at the Deer Creek Access, anglers and boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Allegheny River by using the Kilbuck Access downstream or Freeport Access upstream.
The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
