HARRISBURG, Pa. (November 15) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Darbytown/Narrowsburg Access Area, which provides fishing and boating access to the Delaware River in Damascus Township, Wayne County, will be closed temporarily from November 15-19, 2021.
During this time, the access area parking lot will be upgraded with new pavement.
While repairs are being completed at Darbytown/Narrowsburg, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Delaware River. Nearby free, public boat ramps are located a at the PFBC's Damascus Access Area, located approximately 9 miles upstream, and at the Zane Grey Public Boat Access approximately 12 miles downstream.
The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
