    Courtesy Boat Docks to be Removed for Winter at Walnut Creek and North East Marinas

    ​HARRISBURG, Pa. (October 19) – Lake Erie anglers and boaters should take note that the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) will be removing the public courtesy boat docks at its two popular marinas in preparation for winter.

    Docks at both Walnut Creek Marina in Fairview, and North East Marina in North East, will be removed beginning October 24, 2022. 

    Weather permitting, the public courtesy boat docks and rental slips at these locations are expected to be re-installed in early May 2023.
