Bucks County Yardley Access to Temporarily Close

null

HARRISBURG, Pa. (Dec. 7) — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is alerting anglers and boaters who use the Yardley access area on the Delaware River that the facility will be temporarily closed on December 8-9.

The access area is located in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County.
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission and its contractor will be using the site to stage and transport equipment and materials in connection with the construction of a peregrine falcon nest box on an island in the Delaware River north of the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge. The construction of the nest is part of the commission’s bridge replacement project.
The access area will be reopened to the public on Dec. 10.
