    Commissioner John Mahn, Jr., of Charleroi, Washington County, represents the Second District of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, encompassing Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Washington and Westmoreland counties and was appointed in December 2021 and became the first African American appointed to the Board.

    Commissioner Mahn holds a B.S. degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster and is retired from a career in steel industry management. He is past President of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Writers Association.

    Commissioner Mahn has served as President of the Board of Commissioners and also served on the Boating Advisory Board.
