The Office of Chief Counsel provides legal advice to the Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director and other employees of the Fish and Boat Commission regarding all aspects of the duties, powers and responsibilities of the Commission. 

Division of Public Access and Property Services

The Division of Public Access and Property Services directs and coordinates the Commission’s public access and lands conservation program designed to enhance public access opportunities for fishing and boating, as well as to protect resources and habitats for jurisdictional species.  This Division also administers and coordinates statewide real estate operations and programs of the Commission.

Policy and Planning Office (717-705-7807)

The Policy and Planning Office (PPO) plans, directs, and coordinates policy initiatives and legislative priorities that benefit the Commonwealth’s aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities. In addition, the PPO is active in developing partnerships across various sectors to provide the public with opportunities to fish and boat across Pennsylvania. Furthermore, the PPO is active in participating in hearings, meetings, and events which directly impact fishing and boating across Pennsylvania.
