PA Human Relations Commission Philadelphia Office Moving to Temporary Site

Harrisburg – Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) today announced its Philadelphia Regional Office at 110 North 8th Street, Suite 501 will be moving to a temporary office site of 801 Market Street, Philadelphia. The purpose of the temporary office is to allow for construction to occur at their office location.

PHRC is consolidating space at the 110 North 8th Street, Suite 501 site with the Governor’s office to save money. Construction is expected to take three months. PHRC staff expects to be back in the 110 North 8th Street, Suite 501 address by early-February.

“By cutting back on space, we are able to reduce costs for the agency,” said JoAnn Edwards Executive Director.  “With a temporary work site, we hope to cut down on the disruption that construction has on the workflow for staff and those others who carry out business at the PHRC.”

The PHRC is the state agency that is charged with upholding Pennsylvania’s anti-discrimination laws and promoting equal opportunity for all Commonwealth residents.
