PHRC announces final dates in its statewide Beloved Community tour

PHRC will conclude its two-year tour following these final stops 

Harrisburg, PA- The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) is excited to announce the conclusion of its statewide tour, "PHRC on the Road: Building a Beloved Community." The PHRC will make the following stops during the month of May:

  • Wednesday, May 7- Adams, Franklin, and York Counties
    • 12:00- 2:00 P.M.

The PHRC created the Beloved Community framework to assist communities of the commonwealth to intentionally build a culture of peace, understanding and tolerance despite our differences within the context of an increasingly diverse and interconnected world.

The PHRC launched a statewide tour in June 2023. The PHRC has visited Adams, Allegheny, Beaver, Bedford, Berks, Blair, Bradford, Bucks, Cambria, Cameron, Carbon, Centre, Chester, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Columbia, Crawford, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Elk, Erie, Forest, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Mifflin, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northumberland, Philadelphia, Pike, Potter, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Venango, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Westmoreland, Wyoming, and York counties. 

Each listening session includes a presentation on the Beloved Community framework and an overview of the services and programs offered by the PHRC. Lassiter will then open it up for questions from the community.
