Howe Township Access in Perry County to be Closed Temporarily for Improvements

HARRISBURG, Pa. (May 27) –The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today that the Howe Township Access, which provides fishing and boating access to the Juniata River in Howe Township, Perry County, will be temporarily closed from June 2-3, 2025.

During this time, tree removal operations will be conducted.

While work is being completed at the Howe Township Access, boaters should plan accordingly to find alternate access to the Juniata River by using the PFBC's Greenwood Access upstream.

The PFBC thanks the public for their patience and understanding as these improvements are completed.
