Step 1 of Recovery: Report Your Damages

We cannot overstate how important it is for community officials to report their damages. This initial report is essential for us to determine:

  1. 1

    What Happened?

And how it affected individuals and communities?

  2. 2

    How Has Property Been Affected?

    Include residences, businesses, and infrastructure.

  3. 3

    Where Was Hardest Hit?

  4. 4

Which Situations Need To Take Priority?

  5. 5

What Types of Assistance Are Needed/Available?

Who To Report Damages To

Individuals, businesses, elected officials report to community emergency management coordinator, who reports damages to PEMA.

Individuals, businesses, and elected officials should report damages to their community's emergency management coordinator. Coordinators then report community damage to us at the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.
