    Public Information Release Reports (PIRRs)

    View or subscribe to press releases issued by PSP stations and offices about incidents and investigations. These reports may also contain information concerning public safety or other matters of local interest.

    Overview

    Types of PSP locations that post PIRRs include:

    • PSP stations
    • Bureau of Gaming Enforcement offices
    • Bureau of Liquor Enforcement offices
    • Computer Crime Task Force - The Communications Office publishes the PIRRs through the station that covers the area of each investigation
    • Political Violence Threat Unit - The Communications Office publishes PIRRs through PSP Harrisburg and/or the station that covers the area of each investigation

    PIRRs are posted on this page, and you can subscribe to recieve email notifications for any PSP location.

    1. Check Your Spelling: Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
    2. Use Different Keywords:Try using alternative names or terms for what you're searching for.
    3. Clear Filters:Remove any filters that might be limiting your search results.

    Subscribing to a PIRR feed

    You can be notified when a station or office publishes a PIRR. If you subscribe to a PSP location's feed, you will receive email messages that link to each report.

    If you don't know the PSP locations in a particular area, but want to subscribe to one:

    • Find a station of interest using the Troop Directory or the Station Directory
    • To find Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement (LCE) and Bureau of Gaming (BGE) offices:
      • Use the Sort and Filter button in the search component above
      • Choose a County, then choose Gaming or Liquor Control under Troop
      • Click View Results
      • Examples of LCE and/or BGE office PIRRs will be listed

    Using the "Choose a station or office PIRR feed and subscribe" component below:

    • Choose the station or office from the dropdown list
    • Enter your email address
    • Click the arrow to finish the subscription process

    NOTE: After you complete the CAPTCHA challenge, it will take a few seconds to get a successful subscription message. The arrow will become a checkmark [✓].

    Repeat these steps to subscribe to any number of stations or offices.

    Unsubscribe from a PIRR feed

    To unsubscribe, click the “Manage Subscriptions” link found on every PIRR email message. On the My Subscriptions page, choose the feed and click Unsubscribe.
