WellSpan mobile mammograms

Commonwealth Ave (along Soldiers’ & Sailors’ Grove)
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a time to consider preventative screenings to detect diseases early before they develop into more serious conditions. WellSpan will offer mammograms on their Mobile Mammography Bus for women ages 40 and older. Appointments are required:

  • Register online for a mammogram (online registration closes on 10/7)
  • Register by phone: 717-466-2666
  • This is a two-step registration process. Once you register online or by phone, a WellSpan staff member will call you to confirm your appointment slot.
  • Walk-ins will be accepted on the day of the event.

Reminder: Most medical plans only cover 1 mammogram every 12 months for members age 40 and over. If you are under 40 or had a mammogram less than 12 months ago, YOU may be responsible for the cost of the screening. Please note that the WellSpan Mobile Mammogram event in October 2025 is less than 12 months from this year’s event; if you participated last year, you will not be able to schedule an appointment. Please confirm you are eligible for a mammogram by contacting your insurance carrier.
