Hunter Access Program

In addition to the millions of public land acres available to hunters statewide, the Pennsylvania Game Commission partners with private landowners to provide public hunting opportunities through its Hunter Access Program.

Certified Hunter Program

The Certified Hunter Program is designed to help Pennsylvania landowners, particularly farmers, who are dealing with significant crop damage caused by deer and other wildlife. This program connects landowners with certified hunters trained to manage deer populations effectively.

Deer Management Assistance Program

DMAP provides an additional means for landowners to manage deer to meet their land-use goals. It also provides additional opportunities to the hunters who participate in the program.

Agricultural Deer Control Program

An Agricultural Deer Control permit authorizes landowners or lessees to enlist the aid of hunters for the purpose of removing deer causing damage on agricultural lands, during and outside of the regular deer hunting seasons. Only antlerless deer may be taken under this program.
