Position Overview
The Pennsylvania Game Commission is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as its representative at the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette, Elk County. In this role, the selected individual will support a variety of visitor center activities, including trail monitoring, guest interaction, educational programming for all ages, exhibit and animal interpretation, and informal educational engagement with visitors.The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and will be expected to follow all Commission policies and standard operating procedures.
As a representative of the Game Commission, you will have the opportunity to:
- Represent the mission and values of the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
- Welcome and engage with guests at the visitor center.
- Lead fun and educational programs for all age groups.
- Interpret exhibits and wildlife sightings.
Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, for up to 749 hours.
Anticipated Start Date: Early to mid-July 2026
Hourly Rate: $16.74
Required Qualifications: The selected candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully complete a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, which will be paid for by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
