Governor Shapiro Orders U.S., Commonwealth Flags to Half-Staff to Honor Fallen Officer in Chester County

Harrisburg, PA – Today, in accordance with the United States Flag Code, Governor Josh Shapiro ordered United States and Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings, and grounds across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to fly at half-staff to honor Corporal Timothy O’Connor of the Pennsylvania State Police who was killed in the line of duty in Chester County.

The flags shall be lowered to half-staff immediately and remain lowered until the date of interment on March 18.

All Pennsylvanians are invited to participate in this tribute.
