Policies
To facilitate access to documents of public interest and reduce the need for RTKL requests, the Agency makes many documents public on our website. The public may request information they cannot find through the PENNVEST Open Records Office.
PENNVEST resources are created to be accessible by all individuals. If you experience accessibility challenges, let us know so we can provide help and address future issues for other users of our resources.
PENNVEST has adopted performance goals to determine how effectively and efficiently the agency delivers services to citizens, businesses, and local governments of Pennsylvania. PENNVEST has established key goals and tracks progress, and this informs leadership around decisions affecting the evolution of the program. We communicate the progress we track via the Milestones section.
PENNVEST Intended Use Plan (IUP)
One of the federal requirements for all the identified grant applications is the development of an IUP as part of the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) grant application. This plan describes how Pennsylvania intends to use the grant funding for that federal fiscal year. Eligible projects have been identified to demonstrate Pennsylvania’s ability to spend all the source funds as a requirement for grant award. However, a project does not have to be listed on a draft IUP to be considered for funding.
