    Suzanne V. Estrella, Esq.

    Suzanne V. Estrella, Esq. served as the Commonwealth Victim Advocate until 2026. She is a victims' rights attorney with more than 30 years of legal experience, including 15 years advocating for survivors of crime in Pennsylvania. As former Legal Director of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR), she developed a deep understanding of the trauma experienced by crime victims and the importance of creating systems that support rather than re-traumatize those they are designed to protect. Under her leadership, the Office of Victim Advocate has expanded victim services, crime prevention initiatives, and restorative justice efforts, including the addition of a full-time social worker to provide support groups and promote hope and resiliency. Suzanne is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the Florida Bar, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania's Fifty Over 50 and is the recipient of the Luminary Award from the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the American Jurisprudence Award. She is also an experienced trainer on trauma-informed legal services, implicit bias, and victims' rights. Governor Shapiro nominated Suzanne to serve a full six-year term and was confirmed by the Senate on July 12, 2026.
