    PLCB Celebrates Grand Reopening of Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection in Mount Pocono, Monroe County

    Mount Pocono – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) today celebrated the grand reopening of a Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Premium Collection at Pocono Village Mall, 3430 Rte. 940, Mount Pocono, Monroe County.

    This FW&GS Premium Collection has nearly 6,300 square feet of retail space with more than 3,700 wines and spirits, including luxury products and Premium Collection spirits. The store also carries the popular Chairman’s Selection® products, which are hand-selected, highly rated wines available at significant discounts from nationally quoted prices. A wine specialist will help customers select the perfect wine for any occasion.

    This FW&GS Premium Collection offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere for consumers to browse the extensive selection. The store has a “Made in Pennsylvania” section to highlight wines and spirits produced in the commonwealth. Also, this store features Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sales.

    The Mount Pocono FW&GS Premium Collection will be open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday and from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Sunday. The store phone number is 570.839.9586. To find additional store locations and hours, visit FWGS.com.

    The PLCB regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates more than 560 wine and spirits stores and 13 licensee service centers statewide, and licenses more than 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers. The PLCB also works to reduce and prevent dangerous and underage drinking through partnerships with schools, community groups, and licensees. Taxes and store profits – totaling nearly $23.5 billion since the agency’s inception – are returned to Pennsylvania’s General Fund, which finances Pennsylvania’s schools, health and human services programs, law enforcement, and public safety initiatives, among other important public services. The PLCB also provides financial support for the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs, other state agencies, and local municipalities across the state.
