Pittsburgh – In conjunction with the upcoming Pittsburgh Walk of Fame induction ceremony, Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection at 201 Smallman St., Pittsburgh, will host two special events highlighting the Steel City.
From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, there will be tastings of Pittsburgh’s own Wigle Whiskey products and giveaways of Wigle baseball-themed rocks glasses and memorabilia autographed by Pittsburgh baseball legend Steve Blass. Those 21 years of age and older will be able to taste the following products:

Beginning at 5:00 PM, Blass himself will greet customers at the Strip District store and share stories of his time on the diamond.
Oct. 17 holds a special place in the hearts of Pittsburgh baseball fans. On that day in 1971, Blass pitched a complete game as his team won the world championship (with Walk of Fame inductee Roberto Clemente being named series MVP). On the same day in 1979, the Pittsburgh team again won a world championship (with Willie Stargell being named series MVP).
