Fine Wine & Good Spirits to Host Former 'Black Hawk Down' Operator at Hooten Young Whiskey Tasting & Bottle Signing in King of Prussia

King of Prussia – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) will host Master Sgt. Norm "Hoot" Hooten and Tim Young, creators of the Hooten Young whiskeys, on Friday, Dec. 9, starting at 4:00 PM at Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection, 125 W. Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, Montgomery County.

A former U.S. Army Delta Force soldier who retired as a master sergeant in 2001, Hooten served with Task Force Ranger in Somalia as part of Operation Gothic Serpent, the official name for the 1993 mission that led to the Battle of Mogadishu (the basis for the movie "Black Hawk Down"). Long-time friend Tim Young joined Hoot; using their Texas roots, love for American whiskey and a good smoke they created Hooten Young. Originally created to make and sell cigars, Hooten Young launched a line of whiskeys to pair with those cigars. Hooten Young continues to give back to veteran-aid organizations such as Folds of Honor, JSOC, USF, and more.

Starting at 4:00 PM on Dec. 9, complimentary in-store tastings of Hooten Young Barrel Proof American Whiskey 15 Year Old (Code 88035; $119.99) and Hooten Young Whiskey 12 Year Old (Code 84744; $79.99) will be available in conjunction with the bottle signing for customers 21 years of age and older.

Hoot and Young will sign pre-purchased bottles of their whiskeys.
