The Commonwealth is required to ensure equal employment opportunities for applicants and employees with disabilities. Included in this responsibility is the requirement to provide an effective reasonable accommodation for a qualified applicant or employee with a disability.

Disability services coordinators play a primary role in adherence to these guidelines and administer disability accommodation programs.

Accommodation requests 

Online

New hires and applicants

New hires and applicants who are Commonwealth employees can submit Disability/Pregnancy Accommodation Requests and Religious Accommodation Requests electronically through the Employee Resource Center. 

Applicants who are not Commonwealth employees seeking an accommodation (such as for a scheduled interview) can email their accommodation request to the Bureau of Employee Accommodation Services (OA-BEAS).

Disability Service Coordinators can also process and manage requests electronically.
