Keisel to sign bottles of Dubliner Irish Whiskey at Waterworks store June 12

Pittsburgh – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) announced that Pittsburgh football legend Brett Keisel will sign bottles of Dubliner Irish Whiskey products beginning at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 12, at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Premium Collection, The Waterworks, 991 Freeport Rd., Pittsburgh.

Keisel will sign bottles of the following products purchased by event attendees:

  • Dubliner Steelers Select Irish Whiskey (code 88043) – $59.99
  • Dubliner Fiery Irish Whiskey (code 100040864) – $29.99

Keisel will not sign any items other than bottles of Dubliner Irish Whiskey.

FW&GS customers 21 years of age and older can sample Dubliner products at the Waterworks location beginning at 6:00 PM on June 12.

A native of Wyoming who played college football at Brigham Young University, Keisel was drafted by Pittsburgh in 2002. After playing on special teams units, he worked his way onto the defensive roster. Keisel became a starter at defensive end in 2006 and stayed there until 2015, starting in more than 100 games. Keisel was an all-star, defensive captain, two-time league champion, and three-time conference champion. He had 421 tackles, 30 quarterback sacks, and two interceptions, one of which he returned 79 yards for a touchdown.

Brett’s involvement in the community is well known. So is his thick, flowing beard. “Da Beard” is so famous that it has its own Facebook page and a dedicated website (www.dabeard.com). There are also songs and videos. “Da Beard’s” annual spring shearing was a headline event for 10 years that raised more $1 million dollars to help kids with cancer. Keisel has hosted and supports a wide range of charitable causes. In 2016, Keisel launched Mighty Oak Adventures, which blends his passion for creating unity within a group and his admiration for anything involving the great outdoors. The company serves as an outlet for corporations who are looking to connect on a different level and boost team morale. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Sarah. They live in Pittsburgh with their three children, Jacob, Grace, and Will.
