Host of 'Mad Money' to sign bottles of Fósforo Mezcal Tobala in October
Philadelphia – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) today announced that Jim Cramer, host of CNBC's "Mad Money" and author, and will sign pre-purchased bottles of Fósforo Mezcal Tobala at several Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Premium Collection stores in Philadelphia in October.
Born in Wyndmoor, Montgomery County, Jim Cramer has hosted "Mad Money" for the last 17 years and co-anchors "Squawk on the Street." He authored five national bestsellers. Cramer earned both bachelor's and law degrees from Harvard College before founding his own hedge fund. A dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan, he rarely misses a home game and appreciates spending time in and around southeastern Pennsylvania. A passionate mezcal consumer and category expert, Cramer and his wife, Lisa, regularly travel to Mexico to sample mezcal expressions from several Mexican states. Jim is the "global ambassador of taste" and Lisa is the founder and creative director of Fósforo Mezcal.
The Fósforo Tobala is un-aged and crystal clear. On the nose are pronounced aromas of ripe fruit, bell pepper, honey, wet stone, and smoldering campfire. The palate is lively, with rounded notes of cooked agave, caramelized pineapple, and fresh herbs that give way to a subtle smoky-smooth finish and a full mouthfeel. Fósforo Mezcal Tobala is roasted for five to eight days in underground pits before fermentation that lasts from 10 days to two weeks before it is double-distilled.
Cramer will sign pre-purchased bottles on the following days at the following FW&GS Premium Collection stores:
Saturday, Oct. 1:
- 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM – Ardmore Shopping Center, 62 Greenfield Ave., Ardmore
- 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – 180 W. Girard Ave., Philadelphia

- 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM – 119 W. City Ave., Bala Cynwyd
- 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – The Granary, 411 N. 20th St., Philadelphia
