LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD

Fine Wine & Good Spirits to Welcome Pittsburgh Football Legend Terry Bradshaw

Former quarterback to sign bottles of his bourbon, greet fans at Homestead store June 26

Pittsburgh – The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) announced that Pittsburgh football legend, quarterback, and award-winning sportscaster Terry Bradshaw will pose for photos with customers who purchase signed bottles of his Bradshaw Straight Bourbon beginning at 6:00 PM Thursday, June 26, at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Premium Collection, 330 E. Waterfront Dr., Homestead, Allegheny County.

Bradshaw Straight Bourbon (Code 82990; $41.59) will go on sale when the store opens at 9:00 AM Thursday, June 26. Customers will receive a wristband at the time of purchase in place of receiving a bottle at the time of purchase. Customers with wristbands will receive their signed bottle immediately prior to meeting Terry. Customers wishing to meet Bradshaw must have purchased a bottle of Bradshaw Straight Bourbon at the Homestead FW&GS location that day. Purchase is limited to one bottle per customer.

Terry will not sign any additional items. Other items and memorabilia will not be allowed into the store during the event. Attendees under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Terry Bradshaw is a four-time champion quarterback, a two-time championship MVP, football hall of famer, and a sports broadcasting hall of fame inductee. Terry is also a popular actor, best-selling author, gospel/country singer, the star of his own stage production, the star of his own reality show, a motivational speaker, and the only professional football player with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A native of Shreveport, La., Terry attended Louisiana Tech, and he was the first player chosen in the 1970 football draft. He retired from football prior to the 1984 season. Terry segued to football broadcasting as a guest commentator, then as a game analyst. In 2006, Terry was rated the best-known broadcaster in all of sports. His work earned him numerous professional awards.

In addition to his other laudable endeavors, Terry’s work on behalf of those less fortunate has helped raise a tremendous amount of money and awareness while earning the gratitude and respect of countless charitable organizations, some of which have presented him with awards for his efforts. Terry spends his time at his home in Texas with his wife, Tammy, and has three daughters: Rachel, Erin, and Lacey.

Awarded a 91-point rating from Wine Enthusiast, Bradshaw Straight Bourbon is blended from the finest grains and aged in hand-selected barrels. As noted in the review, the two-year-old bourbon is “tinged with roasted nuts, and vanilla on nose and palate, finishing with hints of black pepper and a waft of smoke.” It has a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, and is proofed to 51.9% ABV, a tribute to Terry’s career pass completion percentage.
