    OSFC Announces Pennsylvania State Weekend Training Scheduled at the National Fire Academy in July 2025

    Lewistown, PA – The Office of the State Fire Commissioner (OSFC) and the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy (PSFA) are pleased to share that the Pennsylvania State Weekend will occur on July 18-20, 2025, at the National Fire Academy (NFA) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. This annual event, hosted by the PSFA, brings firefighters from across the Commonwealth together for advanced national-level training, peer networking, and professional development.

    Pennsylvania firefighters have long benefited from the expertise and national resources available through the NFA, and we’re thrilled to continue that tradition this year. Our team has been in close contact with National Fire Academy staff and we're grateful for the opportunity to offer top-notch training for Pennsylvania’s first responders.

    • Location: National Emergency Training Center, Emmitsburg, MD
