    PAOBA, the Pennsylvania Alpaca Owners & Breeders Association, promotes and supports Pennsylvania’s alpaca industry through education, advocacy, and member engagement. The organization connects breeders, provides resources for events, sales, and networking, and works to grow the alpaca industry in Pennsylvania and nationwide.

    Through initiatives like the Alpaca Royalty Program, PAOBA represents the industry at fairs, schools, media appearances, and the Pennsylvania Farm Show, while helping educate the public and inspire youth involvement in agriculture, including 4-H participation. PAOBA also collaborates with national alpaca organizations and offers members discounted access to shows, educational seminars, and sponsored events.

    PAOBA’s mission is to strengthen the U.S. alpaca market, support its members, and expand opportunities for alpaca farming and products across Pennsylvania and beyond.
