    Associate Director of Information Systems and Strategic Analysis

    The Pennsylvania State Board of Higher Education (SBHE) is looking for a dynamic Associate Director of Information Systems and Strategic Analysis.  In this position, you will become part of a team of higher education data specialists that are developing new data systems and visualizations designed to ensure a high level of transparency and accessibility to actionable information about the postsecondary sector in Pennsylvania.  The Associate Director will:

    • Lead complex research, analysis, and strategic data initiatives that inform higher education policymaking;
    • Produce accessible and high-quality reports, briefs, presentations, and visualizations that shape decisions made by SBHE and its partners; and
    • Serve as a trusted partner to higher education and workforce leaders, state government agencies, and national organizations to advance cross-sector collaboration.

    The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to the mission of the SBHE; have deep knowledge of the postsecondary sector; bring substantial experience in working with large national postsecondary databases as well as postsecondary student-level data systems; possess a demonstrated ability to work independently and produce high-quality products; and demonstrate the capacity to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
