    College Credit

    MPOETC can verify your Act 120 training for potential college credits.

    Overview

    Current and retired officers may be eligible to receive college credits toward a degree for the successful completion of a Commonwealth-approved Act 120 academy. Individuals wishing to receive these credits must coordinate directly with the associated college or university to verify their applicability.

    MPOETC does not maintain a list of colleges or universities that give such college credit.

    Verification of Training

    Applicants must complete the MPO-248 Basic Training Verification Form. Fill out the:

    • Applicant Information section
    • Employment section

    Completed forms should be sent to RA-SPMPOTRNVER@pa.gov. Include information regarding where the form should be sent.

    Once verified, MPOETC will send the completed form directly to the college or university.
