As good neighbors, we want to protect our communities. Many of us know friends, family, coworkers, and others who don’t realize that some simple actions can stop the spread. Help us raise awareness in your community.
We invite you to download and use the materials in our COVID Resource Library. Find marketing materials like posters, presentations, and other educational materials to help with your outreach.
Be a Partner
If you belong to a business or group involved in community outreach, please consider joining the effort to promote and share health and safety measures that can stop COVID-19 from spreading in Pennsylvania. To help you in your communication outreach efforts, watch the COVID-19 Messaging 101 webinar to learn about the best practices when sharing public health messaging.
In addition, there are many ways your organization can become involved, including:
- Follow CDC and PA Department of Health guidance
- Include facts in your mailings and newsletters
- Add information on your bills, invoices, and receipts
- Hang signs and posters in your business or workplace
- Talk to your partners, employees, customers, and stakeholders
Host a Vaccine Clinic
COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. Every person who chooses to get vaccinated reduces their risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death. If you are a community group, faith-based organization, school, state agency, or other group who is interested in organizing a vaccine clinic in your community, contact the PA Department of Health to be paired with a vaccine provider.
Clinic hosts are expected to help mobilize their community, advertise the event, and ensure there is enough interest to hold a clinic. Check out our COVID Resource Library for posters, fill-in flyers, social media posts, and more marketing materials you can use to promote your clinic.
