Self-Certification COVID Compliant Program
Restaurants are on the frontlines of the battle against COVID. You’ve been taking every precaution, following all health guidelines, and keeping safety a top priority. And it is working. We’re seeing the results of your commitment to stopping the spread.
Due to the Governor’s recent announcement that statewide mitigation orders will be lifted on May 31, 2021 the self-certification program will end on May 28, 2021. No new certification submissions will be accepted after May 28.
Trainings and Webinars
Organizations and partners around the state are providing programs and resources – including technical assistance, webinars, and trainings – to help our businesses and entrepreneurs address the challenges of COVID and continue to grow their businesses in Pennsylvania. The PA Business One-Stop Shop calendar includes a roundup of virtual events covering topics for aspiring and existing business owners. Events include information on basics for starting and financing a business, as well as timely topics related to COVID-19 like healthcare, engaging remote employees, e-commerce, digital advertising and more.
Get PPE for Workers
You and your team have been rolling up your sleeves and getting down to the hard work of keeping our economy going. Making sure you and your workers have the right personal protective equipment (PPE) protects everyone’s health and safety. PPE includes:

Vaccines are rolling out in Pennsylvania. They are safe and effective – and the best way to protect you and your workers from the virus. The PA Department of Health is working closely with the federal government to make vaccines available to every Pennsylvanian that wants one.

Keep Your Employees and Customers Safe
If you are an employee that has possible concerns of COVID health and safety violates in the workplace, you can submit a complaint to the Pennsylvanian Department of Health. Following a complaint, the Department of Health will send a warning letter information the business of the potential consequences, including fines and closure if the business is not compliant with the current mitigation orders.
