Department of Corrections officials will host a Career and Reentry Fair for the inmates who are scheduled to be released from prison in the next 12 months. To assist them with a successful transition home, prison officials invited individuals to the prison to meet with the inmates.

Guests include: Lackawanna College, Johnson College, The Stourbridge Project, Flagger Force, Grimm Construction, Outreach Works, PA Department of Banking, OVR, Workforce Alliance, New Roots PA, Veterans Administration, Wayne County Department of Aging, Scranton Counseling Center, PA Parole, Pathstone and Project SOAR Reentry Program.
Every year the Department of Corrections releases 19,000 inmates back to their communities either on parole or after the individual has completed his/her sentence. Career and Reentry Fairs are held at every state prison and are vital in helping individuals obtain jobs once they are released from prison.
