Pennsylvania school immunization rates, 2025-2026

Published

July 31, 2026

Introduction

The Pennsylvania school immunization rates interactive table includes self-reported immunization data from schools in Pennsylvania. The data show schools that reported at least one student enrollment in one or more of the required grades including Kindergarten, 7th, 12th and home school students in those grades. Home school data are included in the rates of the school a student would attend if not home educated. If a school is not included in this data, it is because they either did not report any students enrolled in one of the identified grades at their school or because they didn’t submit an immunization report to the PA Department of Health for the 2025-2026 school year.

Explanation of the data

  • Columns 1 - 4 represent the name of the schools that reported at least one student enrollment in an identified grade, the county the school is located in, and the total number of students enrolled in an identified grade for each school.
  • Columns 5 - 14 represent the percentage of students in each school and grade identified that received the recommended number of vaccine doses, with correct spacing between doses, for nine vaccine preventable diseases. The only exception to this is column 9 which provides the percentage of students that had the varicella disease. Additional information on the recommended childhood vaccinations can be found at General Immunization Guidance.
  • Columns 15 - 17 represent the percentage of students in each school and grade identified that have a vaccine exemption filed with their school.
  • Columns 18 - 20 represent the percentage of students who are: attending school without being properly vaccinated based on a provisional reason defined in state regulations; denied admission to school due to not being properly vaccinated; and; permitted to attend school by a school administrator without being properly vaccinated. Additional details regarding school immunization requirements can be found in state regulations at 28 Pa. Code . Subchapter C Immunizations.
